Job Description
About the role:
ADMA is currently recruiting a Regulatory & Advocacy Manager (Part-Time, 3 days per week) to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of Regulatory & Advocacy / Strategic Advisor, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance across;
Government Relations and Industry Representation:
Advocate for ADMA on compliance and regulatory matters related to data governance, privacy, and consumer protection.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure ADMA’s position is well-represented in industry discussions.
Promoting Responsible Data Use:
Champion ADMA’s narrative regarding the ethical and effective utilization of data for marketing purposes.
Leverage ADMA’s assets and intellectual property to create engaging and informative content for the marketing community.
Expertise and Guidance:
Provide practical guidance to member companies on regulatory issues related to data governance, marketing, and advertising.
Develop compliance resources, including best practices, guidelines, and educational materials.
Assist in drafting submissions clearly articulating the data-driven marketing and advertising position in relation to key government consultations
Self-Regulatory Systems and/or guides:
Contribute to the creation, development, and management of self-regulatory systems as appropriate, including ADMA codes and guidelines.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Compliance and Governance Support:
Ensure ADMA’s compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Monitor changes in legislation and provide timely advice to internal stakeholders.
Help determine Best Practice positioning within regulatory framework so as to guide industry stakeholders where required
Strategy Development and Implementation:
Collaborate with the Director of Regulatory & Advocacy to develop strategic initiatives.
Implement advocacy strategies to influence policy and promote ADMA’s interests.
Financial Performance:
Contribute to revenue growth by supporting compliance efforts and enhancing ADMA’s reputation.
Monitor financial metrics related to regulatory compliance and department contribution to business KPIs.

To be successful in your application it is expected that you will possess the following skills and experience;
Essential;
Legal qualifications
Experience in an advocacy-focused role that includes the development of policies, submissions and papers
Demonstrable interest/knowledge of the regulatory issues relating to data governance, marketing and advertising and a commitment to keep up-to-date with recent developments
High level of communication skills and a proven ability to develop practical content for a non-legal audience
Demonstrated research and policy development skills, including the ability to undertake legal / general research
Highly developed interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
Strong organisational and time management skills
Commitment to be a constructive team member who values the importance of working in a collegiate environment
Desirable;
Previous experience or exposure to working with industry bodies
Experience in public speaking with presentation/facilitation skills and/or media trained
Interest and understanding of marketing industry
